In the summer you can take advantage of the warm weather to clean the exterior of your home; wash down the siding with a garden hose and mild detergent or a power washer.  Check and re-secure loose trim and siding.  Caulk and paint to keep the elements from damaging the structure.

The summer is a great time to plant flowers and improve the landscaping around your home.  It is important to make sure your irrigation system is properly working to save water and keep the plants appropriately watered.  Maintain your lawn and flower beds.  It is a good time to trim back vegetation that is too close to the foundation that can cause damage to the homes structure or foundation.
